HIV and AIDS have been spreading widely around South Africa. Many diseases spread rapidly throughout Europe during the World War 2. Approximately 5.6 million people are living with HIV and AIDS in South After in 2009, more than any other country. The impact of the AIDS epidemic is reflected in the dramatic change in South Africa’s mortality rates. 1.9 million AIDS orphans were one or both parents are deceased in South  Africa and that the HIV/AIDS epidemic is responsible for half of the country’s orphans.
